These works form part of an ongoing series that investigates Northern Ontario as both a lived and observed environment. While rooted in a personal and situated perspective, I am acknowledging a broader cultural process through which regions generate distinctive visual languages and motifs that come to signify place.
This body of work began in 2022 and continues to the present; the works shown here were created since 2024 and represent a small selection from the on-going Signatures of Place series.
